How?<br />Make every post counting the page number. Better if you start from the last page. Say, the book has 100 pages. Now post the 100th page first , then the 99th and so on. As a result after publishing the whole you will get the blog showing the first page of your book !<br />Now look at the sidebars each of them can easily hold 25 links. From the blogspot dashboard go to Template tab, “Page Elements” will be visible. Click on “Add a page element” and chose link list. On the text fields write the page name, say , “page 25” and put the link of the page 25 that you have posted with the wittings on page 25 of your book, like – http://bookName.blogspot.com/25.html. Continue it till the page number 24…2,1. Why reverse? Cause in the link list widget setting the last put address will appear first. Yes, you can rearrange it easily, but why to work twice ! Save the widget. And what you should do next ? Repeat the process for column 2,3 and 4 which will show links started with page number 26, 51 and 76.<br /><br />Publishing book can be done without following this. But in that case readers have to press newer post , newer post, newer post or older post, older post, older post … if they want to jump from 1 page to another. The 5 column template can offer easy jumping from page 42 to 27 or 26 to 53 as all the pages are in front of them. I think this will be really convenient.<br />Another thing, go to setting tab and then publishing sub tab. Set the posts on main page to 1. That will really make the look of the blog as a book. In that case readers will see only that page what they want to read.<br /><br />Again if you want to place pages arranged under Chapters, just follow the process. But this time write down the chapter name in the title field of the link list widget and set the page links appropriately. Follow the same for other chapters. To test all your settings set a test blog and play there. After you finish apply the changes to your original blog. Again, before posting, check whether your post title is ok or not. Because blogspot will take the first segment of the post tile to make the post page url.<br /><br />Try to guess or use tools to know, from which reign majority of your blog readers come . If they are from a reign where provided internet connections are too slow, you should not load your blog with heavy contents like – numerous long posts on main page, high quality images, heavy flash files and unusual scripts. Longer loading time may force your readers to leave your blog.<br /><br />Let other know about what you are writing. How? By sending 100 of mails to unknown addresses? No. Search blogs of your interest. Go there. Leave your comment along with your blog address. Those bloggers, even some of their readers may get back to your blog. Remember where you are saving it, so that you can find it easily when you will upload it again.<br /><br />Another way is to click on Download Full Template link. Then blogspot will ask you to save the template as a xml file. Just save it in safe place of your local hard drive to use it later.<br /><br />Now taking back up of widgets –<br /><br />First of all create a word or text file and save it. Then go to Page Element sub tab. On every widget you will see Edit link.
